Ok with Christmas almost upon us,  let’s be honest all that’s gonna be on your mind is to wear your stretch pants a. k. a fat pants and before you know all that Christmas food has made you put on a little weight. Then you’re New Years Resolution will be to lose weight, join the gym, eat healthy and drink more smoothies.

Losing weight is not always the easiest thing to do, especially when life get’s in the way. But with making a few lifestyle changes and eating healthy it can be done! One way to make a lifestyle change and indulge your sweat tooth is to make smoothies they are very filling, they are convenient and quick and simple to do when you know what is right for you.

Below are 7 recipes for smoothies which you can use over the course of 7 days to replace either your breakfast or lunch, please also remember that to have your main evening meal and at least a lunch or breakfast depending on what you have decided to replace with a Smoothie in the day. These smoothies will help you to lose weight over time, but you must make lifestyle changes like smaller food portions, walking instead of driving etc.…

Yummy Smoovies

Tropical Blast Smoothie (Monday Madness)

  • 6x ounces of plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup of fresh Mango Chunks
  • ½ cup of fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1x frozen Banana chopped
  • 2x tablespoons of ground flaxseed
  • 1x cup of non-fat non milk
  • Then Blend

Mixed Berry Smoothie (Tasty Tuesday)

  • ½ cup of coconut Milk
  • ½ cup of blueberries frozen/fresh
  • ½ cup of strawberries frozen/fresh
  • ½ cup of blackberries frozen/fresh
  • 2-3 Medjool dates
  • Then Blend

Kiwi & Honeydew Smoothie (Wacky Wednesday)

  • ½ cups cubed honeydew
  • 1 small Green apple, peeled and cut up
  • 1 kiwifruit, peeled and cut up
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Then Blend

Blueberry Surprise (Thirsty Thursday)

  • ½ cup Greek Yogurt
  • ¼ cup frozen blueberries
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup loosely packed spinach
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • Blend

Banana Oats Smoothie (TGI Friday)

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp ground golden flax-seed
  • 1 cup ice
  • Then Blend

Orange, Pear & Cranberry Smoothie (Sassy Saturday)

  • ¾ cup fresh cranberries fresh/frozen
  • 1 pear, core removed, chopped
  • 1 small orange
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • Blend

 Bananas & Cream Smoothie (Satisfying Sunday)

  • 1 banana, frozen
  • ½ cup plain, low-fat Greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened milk
