January has been a been a very busy month for me, namely because I have been getting ready for my project One Epic Road Trip and the release of my novel The Secret Diary of a Hotel Entertainer and getting more organised on with my blogging. But I am very pleased to announce that I have been awarded  the Versatile Blogger Award (which is my first and I hope not my last award). Which I was nominated for by my fellow blogger Caroline the owner of an awesome blog The Traveling Sloth.

It’s a great honour when other bloggers recognise your work and support you by nominating you for any sort of award so a massive thank you to Caroline and I look forward to reading more from your blog.

Versatile Blogger Award: 7 Fun Facts

As part of accepting this award, it has become a tradition to share 7 fun facts about myself so you can learn a little more about me, that you didn’t know about me before.

1.  As well as running Outside the Bubble UK, I work as a hotel entertainer and cabaret act (I have my own vocal comedy show) I also work as a Virtual Assistant, copywriter and freelance write as well as being a qualified Wedding and Events planner, all of which allow me to travel.

2.  One of my favourite pass times is cycling.  In 2015 I did a 14 hour bike ride in Mallorca to raise money for Alzheimer’s on my day off from the hotel and to celebrate at the end I went to an Indian restaurant and a Tandoori Mixed grill and cried when I had to cycle back to the hotel I worked and lived in, knowing the next morning I would have to entertain all the guests and actually have to move my aching body, but felt proud as I had only been cycling for two months.

3.  I learnt to drive so that I could go on my project One Epic Road Trip, as I love a challenge! I also wanted to travel to as many locations on my trip as possible and I have had to stop myself from adding any more locations on this project or I will never return home, so I am keeping it to 36 countries.

4.  Whilst I am on my Travel’s this year as part of my Vlog launch, I will be taking part in a challenge LJ section, which means that I will be doing things like going to Ninja School in Japan, learning to scuba dive and get my PADI, sky dive and more, so watch this space.

5.  Whilst visiting Rome in December 2017, I missed the last shuttle back to the hotel, that I was staying in and had to catch the Train back to Aurelia, but in my rush I ended up on a train going towards Pisa. Four stops down the line I realised that I was on the wrong train managed to get off at a connecting station. After waiting an hour at a spooky virtually deserted Train Station and when I got to the intended station, missed the last bus and had to hobble on my crutches (With a rupture ligament) up a never-ending him and finally got back to the Hotel at 10:30 pm.

6.  As much as I love my friends I quite enjoy solo travel because it gives me the opportunity to have me time, meet new people and do what I want to do.

7.  I am a massive fan of WWE’s Total Divas and Total Bellas and I would love to meet The Bella Twins when I reach the USA as I just think they are awesome.
